Looks like junk to me. 1979 who care's. Not me. I'm sure other people feel the same but are to scared to post it.

I agree with 2007 green machine. Looks like the electrical system is not the only total loss.

Wow!...there's a blast from the past. Kawasaki did something very unique for the Japanese...and most bike manufacturers actually...back in the day with that bike. They took a '78 KX125 chassis and installed a slightly modded KL250 DS engine. They made a really competent 4-stroke dirt bike instead of what everyone else was doing with the heavier DS bikes and XR's of the day. That bike handled like a bumblebee and had some really honest-to-gosh suspension.

Three of us in the motorcycle shop I worked at part time had that bike. One guy turned his into a 318 with a Powroll kit and won the Open-B enduro class in the Texas state circuit for the year. The other guy installed some Powroll cams and won the 250-B class for the year, and in fact won the Overall-B rider for the whole year and whole circuit. I took mine and installed only a pipe and did a matching rejet and got as high as first place standings in the 250B class but had to drop out because of job conflicts about 2/3 through the season. These little bikes were absolutely killer for enduro work and a whole lot of fun for trail riding.

But a supermoto? I think not...LOL!

I know it was a little harsh, didn't mean to get anyone upset. It just seems way over priced for something that has been rednecked. If the bike was all original then it would get my attention.
