tires dunlop gt 501. 100/90/18 130/80/18 rim 2 1/4 in front stock in the back going to see if they work well with the bike.

I also have a 2000 XR250 that I plan on street legalizing for my son so we can ride together.
Checked out the GT501 specs ... look good.

I was also thinking of something like a Kenda 761 dual sport 80/20 tire. However in 18" the GT501 look to come in a better sizing combination.
Our riding still has some gravel roads etc ... out at the lake.
Wonder how the GT501 would be on gravel ... Have to find some reviews.

Thats somewhat I'm planning to do. When the K270 wear out, I'm installing Dunlop 607 front and back. This way I still have tall tires and the somewhat moto style.

big lou... set up a www.photobucket.com account... its free, really easy to use and doesnt take up space on your computer for storing photos. plus it makes the img code so all you have to do is copy and paste. alright, now get thoes pics up!

 

works well with the new tires speedo off like 5 mpo.

tires are new so will have to brake them in then ill let you no. runs real smooth no nobby. custom spokes. excel rim.
