..... Since you are throwing
in a free front sprocket on our deal, I thought I would ask.....
Sorry, I'm not sure what you're talking about here.

I thought you were GreenKLX which happens to be a Shelby also.

Thanks again Tony.

That was exactly my thoughts when I had 14:49. It was kicka$$ down low, but the reality of my situation is that I have to ride 10 to 20 miles to get to any decent trail, so to do just a few miles of dirt, I have to ride 20 to 40 miles of road.

I wish I was a machinist - my perfect set up would be to replace the internal transmission so that first gear was like first gear with 14:49, and 6th gear was like 6th gear with 14:39, then spread the other gears out proportionally in between.

When I was a kid we had a Honda ATC90 three wheeler that had a high and low range. That was pretty cool, too, since you could flip a lever and gear everything up or down, but that wasn't really ideal, either.

With today's technology, an electronic hi-low range, with controls on the handle bars would be awesome!!!!

I got one .... of course it would be cheaper for you to buy a new one than pay the postage for me to ship it to you

How about a speedo gear from a tracker???? I would really like to get my odometer/speedo working right with 17 inch wheels.
I have no contacts for a English speaking Japanese parts man. I thought maybe you would know if they import the Tracker there?
The kawa salesman is a Kiwi and probably could find somebody to get parts. He said if it's not in AU. then it's not in New Zealand.

Sorry its an Japan only model. The guy I bought my rims off said he had 2 D-trackers to sell bits off but he hasn't been answering my emails and I haven't seen him on ebay lately. I just checked ebay and he is no longer registered.

The speedo is an easy fix, have a look at http://www.trailtech.net/motorcycle_...puter_kits.htm

Cheers

P.S. I emailed him about my disk he owes me and he answered he says he has some parts and he will email me monday with pix
