Why go through all of that when you can use the 43mm forks from a mid 1990's KX?

I could even get blue KX ones. I'm actually pretty happy now with his shims, new springs and oil.

Got following chart for my fmgv 2040 kit and my specs. Low speed compression stack look much stiffer (1*0.15+ 8*0.10) compared to what I've seen in the first message.
What do you think folks? Don't want to reassemble fork twice.

Revalved fork myself last week. And result is far beyond my expectations. Fork is very plush yet not bottoming. I've put zip tied, and since last trail riding still have 7-8 cm to the fork bottoming. So can make it even more plush. Didn't realized that fork could handle bumps with sharp edges that well!
I was very skeptical about RaceTech stuff in the beginning. Everyone was repeating "gold valves" again and again, so I was thinking it's a marketing bull****. I was so wrong - fork valve kit is the best $150 I've spent on the bike so far!
