You have to draw a line where you start assuming or else everything must be questioned. I would just think that its a given that he properly put diaphram back in the groove before putting the cap back on. And that he would of checked the rubber to make sure of no tears or pieces of dirt sticking to it. I mean, I do all of that stuff.

I'm not raggin on the guy, hes obviously new to this. But since your harping on me for an explanation there it is.

And since you brought it up to OZ there. No one ever said your wrong all of the time. Its just you have such a serious know it all attitude about everything that even when your wrong you still think your right and your the only one that can't understand that. Look how much you get banned, its like a regular thing with you. Doesn't that say anything to you? You may have said that the 250 kit was the lesser of the two kits but most people probably don't even read your posts because they know your just spewing off 9/10ths of the time so why even bother. And thats considering everyone doesn't already have your user name on ignore.

We're all trying to sincerely help the guy out. Just in different ways, hopefully one if not all of our solutions will be the right one. But its better than having no solutions like you usually do. You just like to bitch at people and berate them.
lmao, well, I'll talk for probably most of the members here that have experienced your "know it all" attitude. They're sick of your postings in EVERY thread that you have it all figured out, but they aren't willing to really tell you what they think of you.
If I've been banned, I'm proud. It means I speak my mind and you never have to guess what I'm feeling. I don't follow and as you say, I'm usually right. You've been called out several times by members here and usually come off very abrasive, kind of like me a few years ago. I'm not looking for trouble, but since you attacked me, here ya go. Just stop trying to play Mr. Goodwrench all the time and don't assume anything.

In my opinion, the rejet he did:
"128 main jet, fuel screw 2 1/2 turns out, airbox lid off, TwinAir filter, and full 09 muzzy"
there is no way he is lean, UNLESS, the needle is installed wrong, with those settings its better than stock, so it should run better than stock. but he is saying its not. With those settings it is possible he is slight lean, but not enough to cause horrible performance... That is why i am saying that something is wrong, if all the parts were in correctly it should run alot better at least, maybe not the best, might need tweaked, but there is no way he is so lean that he cant reach 60mph.

Has the plug been checked? The plug will definately point him in the right direction as to rich or lean. I might have missed that with all the shot's being thrown out here. I don't think he's lean. He's missing something here and without know what it's difficult to diagnose why the bike is behaving like it is. Was the hole in the slide drilled out? That would be minor but it's something.

Wow everyone take a deep breath. It's only an online forum. I probably came across a little jerky before too, but I assure you my tone is pretty lighthearted. Sometimes stuff doesn't come through over the internet.

I have heard that I should try a "plug chop", something that involves killing the bike mid throttle and then pulling the plug. Not sure exactly. Well, here goes, I'm off to check the top of the carb. We did have trouble seating the diaphragm, it seemed to expand a little, either that or it was a tight fight to begin with. It wasn't off more than 10 minutes.

i know it wasnt the easiest to put the diaphram back int, was a pain... i think if i remember right, while putting it back on, get all the screws started, just a couple threads, then tighten each one slowly alternating pattern and make sure the diaphram goes in right...
