That's strange, he's not disagreeing with you.

Daniel,
It's just a matter of time, this guy has a proven track.

I've ridden the new WR250X, it is much quicker then the KLX and a very nice machine, I am seriously considering buying one, I just need to decide between the X and the R model, the dealer doesn't have the R yet.
I will not be replacing the KLX though.

SWEET! Would you say its any better on the highway than the KLX? & by that I mean does it cruise at 65 mph-ish any better or easier than the KLX?

I didn't get it up to highway speeds but it feels like it will outrun the KLX all the way around, not in an "OH MY GOD" sort of way but it is noticably quicker and more responsive, the X model was dead solid at up to about 55mph which was all the faster I took it on the surface streets during my 10 minute testride, the suspension is tighter then the KLX.
Not sure if I would like the digital LCD gauges but I like them.

The control buttons and switches seam cheap and were my only source of dissapointment.

Only one bike for me, I just bought a tent trailer and that extends me enough for now, plus my wife would be pissed if I bought another bike. Those women have too much power, damn it.

You just have to know how to work them over. You just go, buy and bring the bike home. Once you get it home, you explain to her that it is not for you, but it is for her so you two can spend more "time" together. If she takes to it, cool. If not, you explain to her that it is not your fault she doesn't want to spend more time together and instead of letting the bike sit you will "have" to ride it so it doesn't get ruined. Of course you can't sell it either because you will lose to much money on it. If she does like riding it you got yourself another riding partner and can ride either bike anytime you want because most women don't know the difference except one is blue and one is green.

$5400 out the door w/ tax, registration, "dealer fees", etc. This was the best my buddy Brian could do in CT. He'll be getting the first green one that comes in the dealership thathe made the downpayment with (Chaplin Kawasaki for you CT guys). May be a little pricey, but hedoesn't want towait for later in the year when the price may drop- which is totally understandable because the riding season is about to start! Not to mention CT's motorcycle/atv prices always seem to be higher than 95% of other states....

It's fuel injected, right? I would hope it's quicker than a bike with a CV carb. Do you mean 'quick' as in better response ordo you mean better acceleration?....or both? [8D]
