What have people been given as pricing for the new bike so far? I've been calling around the midwest (Madison, Minneapolis, Omaha, Chicago, Des Moines, Kansas City) and the lowest I've got is $4600 in Chicago and $4500 in Iowa City. These prices were otd unless you live in the state in which tax, title, and license would need to be paid. The dealers I talked to (must have been 30 or so) were not charging freight or setup on this bike. Just curious as to what others have found out. The general concensus also is that the bikes are due to be shipped this month and should be arriving any day now. I'm really liking that red color. Thx

well, that's just the msrp and is listed in the specs all the time. I'm talking like a quote from speaking with someone on the actual bike with an outright purchase and no trade-in. maybe there's not many people seeking this bike right now.

nah, I don't have one yet but I will as soon as they unload it off the truck. I guess I'm really the only one who has priced one. The only other bike that has taken so long to get to me was the 1996 GSX-R750 I ordered. The factory had a problem with the head/piston squish area and had to fix them all before sending them out to dealers. I had to wait until may to get that bike. It sucked.

I went to my local dealer here in AUS the other day and he wouldn't give me a price besides the Recommended, until they actually have them and then he said they would do a deal.. Not that I'm going to get one anyway but I do love that they have changed the engine colour back to the silver, won't show up my boot rubs as bad as the bronze does... We can't all be like DEEJ...(remember DEEJ i'm just jealous)
