Welcome to the forums neighbor! Have you set the suspension up? there are adjustments depending on what your weight is. And switching the stock front sprocket out with one tooth smaller will help a lot. Jetting and pipe will help a lot too.

If you weigh much above 175#, you'll likely need stiffer fork and rear springs to help with the soft suspension. The preload on rear spring can be adjusted to help some, but it's really not the most satisfactory solution if you're going to be stressing the suspension with bumps and jumps.

Better exhaust and a jet kit will help with throttle response. Some go for a pumper carb for even snappier response.

thanks for the welcome everyone! no the bike is green and white soon to replace all the white plastics and guards with black ones! ya the only things i have done to my bike so far is put a real dirt tire on the rear hacked off the donkey tail off the rear stripped off the decals. piped and jetted it removed the stupid snorkel and those mods have made a differnce for sure i know it will never have a snap of a race 4 stroke but just need a little more throttle response. where should i start to look for one of thses pumper carbs? and for the suspension i weigh 160 or so i was told at the bike shop new springs and somone with some know how on how to adjust the dampining and all that would make a world of differnce i dont really ride track or anything with it but do enjoy a little jumping mostly enduro races. any spring ideas? i have only found one place to get the springs from so far? why are klx 250's so hard to get parts for?

Yes...https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...r-shock-31416/

And I and several others here have revalved the forks, and no one regrets it whatsoever. The OEM valving on both ends of the bike is really bad with the fork being nearly unrideable if you're really going to do some harsh off road.
