Default 09 331kit break-in + dynojet

Yo,
What dyno jet size @ 5000' should i use for break-in? Or should i jet a lean and do a longer lean break-in?
Who has the know here with Dynojet specifics?

Thanks,

When in doubt Jet a little rich.

My 340 42-pilot at first then back to 40.....132 main ....and stuck with it...before going to the FCR....but those jets are Kehin #'s not dynojet....I got not clue on comparing.

Pics

Edit: Just noticed your elevation.....my numbers were based on sea level

Bill,
Anyone offering advice here would be guessing and that's risky at best. If you have a shop with a dyno nearby, give them a call. For a very small fraction of what you spent on the upgrades you can maximize your performance with confidence that you are running the right mixture. You will find that the KLX with 331 likes to run a little fatter than the usual 14.7/1 air/fuel ratio. That will come out on the HP runs as you increase jet size from that ratio...to a point of course. More is good...too much is bad again. Give it a shot and post the results. We'd all love to see the outcome.

Good luck!

I broke mine in with the big jet and the stock pilot lid off. I'm at 650' though. When it was done I put the pumper on and was done with it.
