Dialed the AF screw into 2.5 turns, a bit more crisp off the bottom, no lean condition, still a bit rich I think, maybe I'll go in to 2.25 tonight and see what happens.
I lost some bottom end(under 5k)Going from the hindle exhaust to an uncorked factory unit. I'm getting some intake noise as well, the typical growl and a mechanical growl under hard acceleration...is this normal, I read in the MCM thread the mod will reduce intake noise???
I'm just coming up to 1000 km, maybe I'll do the MCM this weekend when I'm checking the valves. But I also want to take it to the back country this Sunday....hmmmmm
Stay tuned!!

Checked valves today. Intakes are between .12 and .10mm, in spec but on the tighter side. Is this normal?? Exhaust right in the middle of the tolerance. Kinda concerned about the intake gap, I'll check again in 1000km. I chickened out on the MCM, but reinstalled the hindle. She barks again lol. No leaks, all is good. Time to ride!!!

Good call on the MCM Matty. It is not a trivial mod, and success is the only option. Being fully prepared and confident of your skills is the only way to start in on the MCM. Mistakes could be extremely costly.

I also noticed some discolouration marks on the left side lobe of the intake cam. The marks looked like semi circles but I could not feel anything, just see it...I should of taken a picture. Urg. In 1000km I will....
Boy that hindle exhaust really wakes up the bottom end, pretty much right off idle I can blip the throttle, transfer my weight a bit and the front end comes right on up!!! No clutch, 2nd gear clutch ups are easier as well....good times

I had a mini adventure today. Started the day on a nice warm up loop, with nice vistas and rolling double track.
Selfie, sporting the Voss Dually helmet.
Exploring a new area I don't have tracks for...about 1500' here, bike is running awesome!!! Jetting seems great at this altitude.
Found a new double track which turned into a crazy single track, very steep down hill, I quickly passed the point of no return and had to plug away...I killed the engine and used the compression braking and lots of front brake as I needed my feet to keep me upright....newbie
Break time...here is what I'm dealing with....
This guy had a bad day....left his bike, no where to be seen
