Default '2014 klx250s...what next??

Hey y'all, new to the forum, new klx owner.
So I bought a new klx250 to use as a lightweight, adventure'ish bike and to commute 5 miles to work. So far I love the bike!!!
Mods so far include; 13t sprocket, renthal bars, acerbis guards, and risers.
I have the dynojet kit and moose rear rack on order(should be here tomorrow)
I want to uncork the stock exhaust, remove snorkel and possibly do the MCM mod to round off engine mods...351 and pumper one day.

So what next?? I'm thinking bash plate and new tires are next, but.....???

Also, I trying to source out new spring as I am 190# dry and I think the bike is a bit under sprung, especially when I start hauling some gear. I can't seem to find fork springs for my year??

Any advice would be great!!!
Matt

Pics or it didn't happen eh??

From what others have reported, uncorking the stock exhaust will only make it louder with no performance improvements. Look to an aftermarket silencer.

2014 springs should be the same as 2009-2013. Try John at MOTO-PRO.

Welcome to KF.

Just a heads up-the link you posted is for the mounting kit, not the muffler.

Gather up the jet kit, slip-on, and prepare for MCM - then in one weekend get em all done for 20hp goodness.

What I'm saying is that the only item listed for $100 is for a mounting kit-you have to buy the muffler separately.

GBAUTO is correct, that 99.95 is just for the mounting kit, the slip on is quite a bit more moola. The scenery in your shots looks like BC, can spot that anywhere

Vancouver Island, we've had a great summer, hot and dry. Unfortunately the seasons are changing and we get so much rain over the winter.
So pics
