PITTSBURGH'S ALMOST FAMOUS RESTAURANT, http://www.primantibros.com/
Yinz guys wanna know the real story about the Primanti's sandwich, n'at, right?
Like whose crazy idea it was to stuff a big hunk of grilled meat and chilly cole slaw and hot fried egg and fresh tomato and crisp French fries between two slabs of chewy Italian bread that you could hardly fit into your mouth? Then listen up, 'cause this is the whole truth, no lie.
Lots of people say Uncles Lou and Dick and Stanley invented the sandwich in the 1930s. That was back in the Great Depression when everyone in the country was sad about one thing or another. So like I said, Uncle Lou or Uncle Dick or Uncle Stanley — nobody remembers which one for sure 'cause nobody wrote nuthin down — gets this idea to sell lunch in the nighttime to guys in the Strip District who are unloading fruits and vegetables and stuff. It was a crazy thing to do, 'cause most people eat lunch in the middle of the day. But the Uncles didn't know any better.
Anyways, they open up this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant and everything's ready to go. Except they forgot to buy plates and forks and knives, n'at. So when all those hungry dock workers come in, the Uncles just start piling all the works right on top of the sandwich meat so these guys could eat the whole thing with one hand and keep working, see. That's what they told them anyhow.
It's a good thing those guys ate their sandwiches outside in the dark. But after a while, everyone liked everything smooshed together with all those different flavors blending together.
Like they say, the rest is history, n'at.
They mank alot of different sandwhiches i like the cheese steak, cole slaw, french fries and a cheese steak on fresh italian bread... mmm

Chris,
Yep, stewed are just fine too. Heck, I have been known to exist on okra and tomato stew!
For those that are not sure of this type of food, we do still have a thing that any meat-eater will totally enjoy
Bar-B-Que ! ! !

Now, that will get your taste buds goin'!
Man, that fried oyster sandwich looks GOOD. We have crawfish in the lake and I catch them for fun but I never thought to eat them. Maybe they are different down south. I'm happy with a 50's style burger with fried onions and fries. I'm hungry now.
Last year, one of the attendees, JayD, a native bayou resident, brought a big ole pot full of Gumbo!
Now, that was some awesome eating!
We didn't need heat in the cabin that night!
Hi Guys,
To answer a couple of questions. Don't worry too much about water crossings, Tallahasse area is 20 inches down in rain this year so things are pretty dry. And it don't look like it will change between now and January.
EMS, yes, lunches are open. Many of the longer guided rides will probably take in a lunch stop. If you are at Camp at lunch time,, like Marty said, there is a lunch buffet 5 miles away. Here is a list of other close restaurants
Castnet - fried seafood - 5 miles
Registers BBQ - BBQ - 10 miles
Riverside Cafe - seafood/burgers/wing - 15 mile
Forgotten Coast - seafood - 10 miles
Bishop Soul Food Buffet - soul food - 10 miles
Seinyard - seafood - 10 miles
Crawfordville Florida even has a Hardees, Sonic, Waffle House, etc, etc. Don't worry, you won't lose any weight druing your florida vacation.

Yep, sure is. Wanna make something of it?
When was the last time you had your butt kicked by a 60 year old man? [sm=bounceybounce.gif]
Okay, now here is a map I just made with the software I got with the I-Way GPS.
The red circle is where the campground is located.
Here's the GPS coordinates for Camp Indian Springs:
N 30 degrees, 14 minutes, 35.5 seconds
W 84 degrees, 19 minutes, 04.1 seconds
