Tires on ATV
Hi all...
I have a kawasaki praire 360 4x4 2003
I have got no major mods done to it - I was just looking at itp tires though - the mud XTR's look GREAT
What do you all think if I went with a 26-9-12 front and a 26-11-12 Rear this is 1" taller and 1" wider then the stock 25-8-12 front and the 25-10-12 rear
Also... should i not bother with the wheels and just get the whole system too? Keep the stock wheels for emembergencies?
I am just looking for opinions here thats all
thanks, Ken

RE: Tires on ATV
Welcome Ken,
Been I while since I had a quad but when I did mine was set up for the sand with extended rear axel and sand tires all around. I kept the stock axel and wheels for when we wanted to ride in the winter(snow/ice) or on the gravel logging roads, which I think was some of the best riding.
Keep those stock wheels and tires for sure!

RE: Tires on ATV
I have a kfx 400 I jumped up two sizes on the front and the back when it was stock. I did loose a little on the top end but no major problems. When I put the exhaust on and jetted it I gained it all back. I am still running the stock wheels. After market wheels just look fancy and cost money.
