Have you installed a SYA Warrior Riser Snorkel kit?
I am extremely interested in installing the Warrior snorkel kit, but I foolishly purchased a Pro DX instead of a Pro FX. Nobody makes a snorkel for the diesel, and I have been unable to get much info out of the Warrior manufacturer.
My dealer tells me that all the vents are the same on both the diesel and the gas, but I don't want to blow over $350 dollars to find out if that is true.
I would greatly appreciate chatting with anyone who has done an install on the gas model.
As a side note to anyone considering the diesel versus the gas models- I am sorry that I got the diesel. The engine noise is several thousand times louder than the gas, to the point of either yelling back and forth, or stopping the engine to talk with the passenger. And the top speed is around 25 mph versus 45 mph with the gas. Neither of which I was aware of prior to the purchase. And both the carrying capacity and towing capacity are the same and the diesel costs more (plus they don't want you to use any bio diesel which is very hard to find), so don't get the diesel!
Thanks,
I don’t approve of political jokes. I have seen too many of them get elected.
