Unhappy Cracked trans case

Poppabear65 here,
My brother just bought a used 2008 Mule 3010 diesel which has a small leak in the rear case at the seam. Anybody have any idea on an additive that will stop this leak without a complete tear down to reseal the case? This just started leaking. He has only had it for one month.. Leak is not bad, but trying to save a few dollars on repair.

Any ideas will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Poppabear65

You could try cleaning the outside and applying some JB weld or similar. The case is vented so there should be no internal pressure as it warms up.
