I am trying to troubleshoot this Jet Ski. I had to remove the cylinder head in order to get to a rusted, broken spark plug in which I had to re-tap my Mechanic reassembled the engine and made sure the timing chain was still on the tooth with tension so we didn’t lose the timing Mark reassemble the engine and now I cannot get it to run it. Try to start momentarily but quit I ordered CanDooPro diagnostic for Kawasaki and now it has shown this code O340 which says crank sensor I’m also gonna post some pictures. It keeps pointing to wiring. I don’t know if the timing mark was off that it would still show this code I’m not getting any fuel after cranking for about 20 seconds. I’m gonna paste the image of the monitor from CanDooPro.
The one screen image is hard to read, but that’s where it showed current fault 0340 active from the other screen, it shows two errors crank sensor than anybody has any input on this. I would greatly appreciate it. I checked the crank sensor plug, but it appears to be OK so when I crank the engine, I get about 100 RPM so tomorrow I’m gonna reconnect can do and try to crank with can do’s immobilizer cable it doesn’t allow you to crank the engine. It’s just for a diagnostics.
