I recently purchased two Kawasaki STX-15F jet skis with very low hours but minor cosmetic issues. The rear corner bumper pad has sustained a hard enough hit to snap off two of the rivets holding it in place. I've already purchased replacement rivets & cap blocks, however, I'm not certain how to get the broken rivets out. The end of them appears to snap into something permanently attached to the underside/inside of the bumper. There doesn't seem to be anything remaining on the outside end of the rivet to grab onto to pull the old rivet out.

Has anyone run across this problem before and if so what's the solution?

Hmmmmm Unless you can get to the underside of the rivet and pull it through the rest of the way, you might have to drill next to it and put new ones in. Usually drilling with a larger then the head drill bit will remove them, in your case that's not an option. Oh and welcome to the forums.
