I have a 93 ss xi and it has been sitting for a few years as i travel with work. I emptied the gas tank and checked that the carbs are clean and it cranked up a few times throughout the day on the trailer. The next day i put it in the water and nothing happened. Upon taking out the spark plugs i now know that it is not getting any spark at all. What are my options in what it could be? Don't know a whole lot about skis but don't want to spend any money i don't have to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I know nothing about the ski's but with no spark you need to get your voltmeter and trace the signal as far as it goes. should be getting a signal from the pickups to the coil and out to the plugs, check all your connections and ohm out the components with the specs in your manual. Should be an easy fix, let us know what you find. Welcome to KF!

 

have you fixed the problem? if not i have the repair manual for the ski. I would check your kill switch first and make sure it is not stuck. If it is not that is has to be in the cdi It may only be the egniter but the whole cdi may be shot. Let us no what you find out
