We recently purchased a '96 1100 ZXi and it won't start unless one of the carbs is manually blocked to create a complete vacuum. When it finally kics and starts, it won't stay running unless I can get it to high revs. Won't idle at all. Its not the fuel filter stopping flow, as I bypassed it to make sure. It sat unused or started for about 3 months prior to this

Any ideas please!

When this started with mine it was a clogged idle jet in carb so I rebuilt it and replace with new pilots and mains. If you have to block one carb it is probably just that jet but if you do it you will want to do them all.
