Default 750 SS won't start

My 750 won't turn over. It continues to roll and will run only as long as I continue to spray starter fluid into the carburetor. Any suggestions on where the problem can be. What's between the fuel tank and the carburetor that could cause a problem? What can I do to test for something being clogged and what can I do to unclog all the way through?

If your engine only runs on starting fluid, either you have a fuel pump or choke problem. More likely the fuel pump. Disconnect the suction tube from the fuel pump (attached on the side of the carb) and put your fand at the fitting while you are cranking. If you don't feel any suction, your fule pump needs rebuilding (diaphragm) or replacement.
