Bought the jetski second hand once I started to tinker with it discovered code CAAI and found that this was the Cam sensor problem. So ordered a new sensor but had a little problem removing the old one that had a broken wire at the sensor. After removing the 10mm bolt and forcing it loose I was unable to get the dam thing out with using a little blunt force..
The sensor base was right up against the? Intercooler manifold? So I am wondering if when I get the replacement will I have the same problem getting it in or could this old sensor possibly be a knockoff not exactly the correct one? However it appears it would have been installed before the manifold was installed.Puzzeled ?
