2000 Kawasaki 1100 STX Fuel sender and Storage Case questions
Jet Ski: 2000 Kawasaki 1100 STX
I am seeking a bit of guidance before I start taking everything apart. Many thanks in advance.
Q1: With a full tank, the fuel level light comes on and the fuel gauge shows no fuel-level information. Safe to assume the Fuel-level sender needs replacement?
Q2a: I found a couple of good You Tube videos to replace the fuel-level sender, but those jetskis are 1999 models. Mine is a 2000 and the "bow locker" riveted to the hull. It appears the only way to access the fuel-level sender is to remove the Seat, "front storage case" and Cross member. Anyone done this?
Q2b: When removing the "front storage case" is there enough wire for the orange key and switch to keep it out of the way?
Thank you in advance
