Drink a beer.17) Install new oil filter making sure to apply a thin coat of oilto gasket surface.18) Dump first quart of fresh oil into engine.19) Remember drain plug from step 11.20) Hurry to find drain plug in drain pan.21) Drink beer.22) Discover that first quart of fresh oil is now on the floor.Throw kitty litter on oil spill.23) Get drain plug back in with only a minor spill. Drink beer.24) Crawl under car getting kitty litter into eyes. Wipe eyes withoily rag used to clean drain plug. Slip with stupid crescent wrenchtightening drain plug and bang knuckles on frame removing any excess skin between knuckles and frame.[/align]

Hahaha! That was pretty good. I can't say that is me though. Although, one time years ago, I helped a friend change the oil on his camaro. We sort of forgot to pull out the drain pan from under the car after finishing. (and left the filter sticking up in the pan) When my friend backed up the car, the front bumper caught the pan causing oil to go all over the driveway.[:@]

I think I am going to do an oil change this weekend. I'll see if I can get some pics while I do it so people can see it along with the directions.
