I think that my clutch might not be fully disengaging. When you put it into first from nutural it jumps a little bit(a little bit of a clunk). Also pushing it in first with the clutch pulled in all the way I can feel the energy hit the engine and they you have to turn the engine with the pushing. Does this sound odd. I tried to check the cable but i'm somewhat confused. It seems to start pulling the arm right away(no play?) and also will go all the way down until the handle is pushing against the grip.
Is this normal?
I was also thininking it might just be from not going anyway all winter, since I don't think it did it before, but im not sure.

The bike is almost ready for the road now.

A slight jump when you first put it in gear with the engine still cold is nothing to worry about. If it jumps when the engine has fully warmed up, you might have some issues. You should be able to make cable slack adjustments at your lever's adjusting sleeve by turning it clockwise or counter-clockwise.
