I was on the road today in bumper to bumper. My high temp light on my ZZR600 came on. I pulled over and let it cool down. It did so i left. I got home and it didnt feel quite right. When i take off, normally it pulls a bit before i accelerate. Now, it just sits there. And when i accelerate, it starts shooting up RPM's around 4 grand. It almost feels like a tranny slip on a car.

Im new to the bikes, so is this what it is. I was ridin the clutch a bit when i was sittin in traffic, but i didnt over do it!

Yepper. If not a clutch adjustment issue, it's probably the clutch slipping.

 

yeah, sounds like adjustment issues to me a little low on the miles to be a clutch.
