Hi everyone,

I am new to working on bikes but have recently "caught the bug" and began a couple projects. Case in hand, 1995 Ninja 600 I recently bought for $550...engine cranks but does not start, and is not getting spark. I have done the following:

1 Fully charged battery
2 Changed plugs
3 Replaced coils
4 Replaced CDI
5 Checked pickup coil (within spec)
6 Checked main blade fuses
7 Voltage to Coils is about 1 volt less than battery.
8 checked Kill Switch

I also removed the carbs because they will def need cleaning, and they are still off the bike. I should still get spark without carbs connected, yes?

My guess is a bad fuse or relay or a short in a wire. I have a multimeter and will check these tomorrow, but any help in how to check or troubleshoot is greatly appreciated!
