I have a 2006 Kawi ZX6-R. I took my bike to the shop to get it tested, my 2nd gear doesnt work and my valves make noise. I had that problem for about 4 months. I want to swap engines instead of taking it all apart.
Anyone know if I can stick an engine from a 2003-2004 zx6-r into mine?

03-04 zx6r motors have different motor mounts than the 05-06 zx6r's did so you will run into some problems there. best bet is to look for a good used 05-06 636 motor with a good tranny.
