Hi iv blown my motor which is a 04 model 636 and have a 05/06 motor avalable to me for a reasonable price.but i dont know if this motor wld fit straight in or if the mounts are differnt.and if possible what mods are needed.the 06 sounds like a great motor thanks ren

pretty sure it would ffit between the frame since it is the same size. however i can almost gar. that the mounts are in a different location, if not just a 1/2 an inch or something but prolly not in the same place.

speedracer128 would be the guy to ask he has put just about every part from an 05-06 onto an 03-04

 

sorry to hear about the engine but welcome to kf renfreese. Moved out of dyi

 

the 03-04 engines have different motor mounts than the 05-06 did but you could fab up some motor mounts to work tho same size engine just different mounts
