whats the difference between slip ons and other exhaust?

Default whats the difference between slip ons and other exhaust?

im new to motorcycle 'add ons' if you will....what are all these, ..'full exhaust, slip ons, blha blha...what the difference in power increase, rance, and sound...most cost beneficial?

i have an 05 btw if the fuel injection will change anything

Full exhaust is just that. The pipes, muffler, the whole enchilada. Slip on is just as it says. You take the old muffler off, and slip on the new muffler. If you click the link, there is a lot more explanation there for ya.......

If I where you I would just do a slip on Sounds good n alot cheaper than full pipes. With ya being new to it you wont need a full system for the added power, cause it's all top end, you'll lose lower end and will need to add a power comander to compesate for the increased flow. If later ya need the extra power do a sprocket change it will increase your speed out of the hole. good luck.
