Is there a trick to taking off the front sprocket

I want to put my new front sprocket on but i cant seem to get the nut holding the sprocket on off!!

Yes it's called a lot of mussel, I useed a 48' pipe that I slid over my breaker bar for added leverage and then she came off.

If it is like the 92 ZX6 - it is also threaded the other direction.
