Default starting bike after winter

Hey guys, im a new bike owner, i am just taking my bike out of storage from the winter. I hooked up a battery charger to it to make sure it was fully charged, went to start it and all it does is turn over, cant get it started. Any ideas on what else i should do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

oops, sorry about that. I have a 93 kawasaki ninja zx-7. As it turns out I just got it started. But when i start it i start seeing smoke after it runs for a couple of seconds. Could this be normal after sitting in an unheated garage all winter and just needs to be run for a bit to clear everything out. Should I be doing anything for it after letting it sit for almost 6 months?

Drain your carb bowls; get some fresh gas (despite what Rob says.) Double check your electrolyte in the battery. If you leave your Battery Tender connected all winter, it WILL lower the level. (Check all hoses, fittings, and general wiring for rodent issues.)
