My 2019 FI KLX250, even before I started with the mods was not an easy starter, particularly when temps dipped below 40 F. I have added the Marcelion Cam mod, lidless airbox, and EJK set up with Stage 1 mod settings, and lastly slipped on a Delkevic silencer.
It takes 4 stabs at the starter button to get this thing lit, and running. I have been using some fuel that has been sitting in a tank for quite a long period so I will be swapping to rec gas for the next fillup, that may be the issue, but I am also wondering if possibly an upgraded battery, something with more CCA might make a difference. I haven't been able to determine what the stock battery CCA rating would be, they seem to range from 90-140 CCAs. I really don't want to go to the Lithium batteries, but would prefer an AGM. What are your thoughts and recommendations?

 

Fuel is 100% going to hinder the starting see below.

  iirc the standard Battery FTX7L-BS is at best 90 CCA I would get yourself the equivalent at 140 CCA Sealed AGM
