rear axle grease and bearing question?
removed the rear wheel waiting on a tool to remove the front what grease is best to use for re greasing the axle. i was told not to take the bearings out they would get damaged if i did but one in the back fell out and i can get to the bearing in the sprocket hub so can i clean them out and how? do i grease them what all do i grease on the front and rear? also do i have to use lock tight nuts or something on sprocket to hub bolts it looked like there was something when i took them off. Thanks for any help!

I use a thin smear of any grease on the axle and on all threaded fasteners just to make sure that nothing siezes the next time I need to dismantle it. As posted, the bearings are sealed and need no grease.
Use a little bearing fit Loctite on the bearing that was loose. If it's still loose you need to find out why.
