I'm new to dirt bikes and I recently purchased a 2020 KLX 110 (no clutch lever). It's been a blast, and I've been performing routine maintenance.

Overall it's run great, except for shifting into second gear. Specifically, when the bike is cold and we start riding it, getting it into second gear is really difficult - as in, I have to do it with my hand, or my kids wait for the bike to warm up.

I tried tweaking the clutch adjustment per the manual, but the problem persists.

Any ideas?
