Am I the only one who is facing difficulty in upshifting from 4th gear when riding at a moderate speed? I usually get the other gears from 1 to 6 in quick succession but have a problem if in traffic and get stuck in 4th gear, it just would not shift up to 5th and onwards?[&o]

 

thats all you man, i never had a problem with any bike. is your shifter set up comfortably to your riding position ?

 

never had that problem.... i would take it to the stealership.... have them deal with it....

 

Never had that problem, but mines klunky between 1st and 2nd with or without the clutch. It helped a littly by adjusting shifter positions and chain tension, but still klunky. Its kind of hard to be user error in the upper gears, but possible, I would take it in.

Try upshifting without the clutch. If it still does it, the problem may be internal. Maybe a burr on the shift drum groove. How many miles on the bike?
