Default Plug leads leads plugs grrrrrr

Explain as best I can .....Got fuel, got sparks. Not sure if Ive got leads right. If your stood on left side of bike the left top coil lead goes to the outer left plug. The left lower coil lead goes under the frame to the inner right hand cylinder.Ok,crossing over to the right hand side of the bike where the timing baseplate is.The right top coil lead goes to the outer right plug, the lower right lead goes under the frame to the inner left plug. Hope someone can shed some light on this , its the sort of thing the haynes manual just doesnt show you, just tantalising glimpses, lol.Oh,better say which bike eh???? Its a 1982 gpz750r1 twin shock.Cheers peeps!!!!

So, sitting on the bike. #1 cylinder is on your left, showing the coil leads going to cylinders #2 and to #3. The right coil going to cylinders #1 and to #4. This is a common gpz, zx, Z, KZ and most likely every 4 stroke inline 4 cylinder with the standard 1,2,4,3 firing order.

Default Shocking!

Can hear the words"Silly Bugger",lol. Think the plug leads could be past their best, shocking way to find out, touched a lead whilst spinnin it over,OWWWWY! Gonna buy a brand new set,car ones prob n mod them to fit the coils, its fairly easy.Cut end off lead n insert metal horseshoe clip into lead core to fit coil.Keep yas posted.

I see that alot first hand. I have been stymied many a time trying to help someone over the internet only to find that something else had been "tweaked" which really throws another loop into the situation. But, it keeps life interesting and it provides all of us something new to add to our learning curve.

Keep up the good work.
