Default How to replace OEM Engine Plugs with ZETA plugs on KLX 250

Just wondering if this is something straight forward that i can do myself or if i need to take my bike to a garage. I'm by no means a professional so i don't want to screw anything up but if it's simply a case of removing the plugs and putting in the ZETA ones without having to mess around with anything inside the engine then i'm comfortable doing that.

Trying to bling up my KLX 250 with all the red aluminium parts from ZETA.

Thx for any advice.

Many thanks for the quick response, in that case i'll just simply remove the stock ones and replace with the ZETA ones.

I got the red Zeta engine plugs on my bike, easy to fit with a good Allen Key set. Btw the red anodizing is good quality on the plugs & has not faded at all, unlike some of the other red bits n bobs I fitted.

Only weird thing was on the large plug, the o-ring that came with it was a little to big & caused oil to weep out after riding!! I trimmed a 2 or 3mm section out of the o-ring & re-fitted it & all has been good for 6 months. Never bothered finding a correct sized o-ring, as there was never anymore oil weeping problem.

i had no idea what plugs you guys were talking about...had to do a quick google search...seems like "bling" modifications...does it serve any purpose besides adding color?...

Main factor to me is the bling. Then, a hex driver is better than a flat driver.

Sorry my mistake, it was along time ago! I meant to say transferring the o-rings from my old original plugs onto the Zeta plugs......on the big plug, the o-ring was to big to get a seal. The small plug was a perfect swap.
