I we are talking about he same screws with the springs, 3 of them, those are the ones you use to adjust the carbsync.

 

Those Idle air screws are mainly for idle, but they do make a noticable difference anywhere below 3-4k if they're not set right. When I rebuilt the carbs on my 750, The clymer manual didn't say what to set the air screw at. Nobody else I talked to knew either. So I had to mess around with them for a while before getting it just right. having that tool would have made life much easier. I know in the future I'll probably have to rebuild another carb, and I want that tool for the next time around.

 

oh ok. i guess i'm lucky my screws are easy to get to. 2 on top and only one on bottom

 

Mine are set to the specs for the jet kits that I have installed and the idle screws are what you use to sync the carbs.

 

i also have the idle screws set to the jetkit specs. I so need to do a carb sync tommorrow

 

You mean AF screws I think.

 

I think everyone on this post is being confused by each other! lol

 

i confuse myself. were all talking about the correct screws I have a very small then screw driver I can use to adjust all the screw on the bottom, the top I can just use a reg screwdriver. how the hell to you make an adjustment without taking the tank off?
