Oil light on....

Oil light on....
Hey guys,
So everything was working great on my 97 zx-6r (F) until on sad dark stormly night. If anyone remembers my electrical problem it turned out to be a faulty kill switch..just like you said...sooo...Its a new bike for me and I parked it on the grass....seemed sturdy enough. but the rain came and the ground gave way.....bike was on its side for god knows how long...at most 10 hours...with the cover on but the rain gettin at it in wierd angles. I picked up the next morning.
Ok now (a few days later) I start it and the oil light won't turn off....it definitely didn't have this problem before. It idles fine but I don't dare do anything more than that. I just changed the oil + filter....10W-40 motorcycle oil and oh yeah...the first time I tried to start it (like a minute before it started idling with the oil light on) it made a loud slap which scared me to death.
Heres what the manual says:
Oil Pressure warning light on:
ENgine oil pump damaged
engine oil screen clogged
engine oil level too low
Wndine oil viscosity too low
camsharft bearing worn
crankshaft bearing worn
oil pressure switch damaged
wiring faulty
relief valuve stuck open
o-ring at the oil passage in the crankcase damaged
Any suggestions on how to start..I don't really know where any of this stuff is so general info would be helpful.
Thank you so much and I made sure to do a search before posting

RE: Oil light on....
sounds like, when the bike was on its side, there was some leak by the rings, and filled the cylinder up with some oil....pull the plugs and turn it over with the electric start to pump the oil out..........if nothing comes out its already been pushed out the ex valve....run it wasy for about 100 miles or so...., dont go over 4 or 5k....if possible
