Kawasaki NINJA wont keep running at idle
Man the bike i just bought is a Ninja 250R 250cc and its a 2002, twin cam 16valve bike,
What happens is i get it running and it runs for a bit but then it acts like its not getting gas, sometimes it idles and sometimes it dies, I have to let it sit for a bit and then it will idle, but to start it i need the choke on and i have to leave it on for about a minute before it will idle by its self, but then i get it going and it only runs for a few miles and then it dies again....It sounds like its not getting much gas but i really dont know.....HELP any answers,
The bike sat in a garage for a while and had some old gas in it i just emptied all the old gas and replaced it with new gas,, the spark plugs are fine ive already checked them out,, the battery also is fine they checked it out at the kawasaki shop,,,,it does have a vacum gas sucker thats round and black i wonder if that has something to do with it...Please can someone help me......

I agree with all. The carbs are gummed up. Old gas turns to varnish, clogging up the main and pilot jets. Have them cleaned or do it yourself, but they need to be removed.
