Default I Need Help Winterizing

I have an '01 Ninja ZX-7R and an '03 Ninja EX500. I want to winterize them since I won't be taking them out until it gets nice again. I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of things to get and do to winterize these bikes.

Welcome to KF.

If the rides will be down for a month, I normally will just check the batteries, move the tire position, circulate the oil and coolant. I personnally have not used stabil, but heard it was good stuff. I see that you got the slow Ninja! hehehe, I still have my 90 but my EX is the blue one! lol again welcome

I used to do all the stuff (Stabil, take out battery, drain carbs, etc.) but decided it was much easier and more fun to just ride, as long as the roads were dry. Put on an extra layer under the leathers and you're good to go. Don't be a "girlie-man" get out and ride!

I was thinking about riding during the winter but the roads are rarely cleared over here in MN. But I will keep that in mind. But I still wanna winterize my EX500 since I am planning on selling it the spring.

My battery is already weak in my EX, but I just start it up every few days, wipe it down and inspect for leaks or loose bolts. A good ride to keep her warm is always nice.

Ok. I will probably start them up again the next day it gets above 20 which could take a while lol. But I have pics up of my EX500 if you wanted to check it out. I also have pics of my ZX-7R.
