okay i got the front sprocket for my rm250 because it needed a new one and the teeth were worn and i needed a new clip that hold the sprocket in.. i just ordered it and does anyone know the name of the tool that is needed??

Your manual will tell you how to do it. I am not sure we are on the same page at the moment.
kx, tell us what it looks like. Is it a U-shaped slider clip like on a chain master link, or is it a round (almost complete circle) with 2 little holes on the ends of the "loops" (called a "split ring.")? Or, is it a solid piece of metal that goes through the center of the output shaft to hold the sprocket on the shaft?
