How to change a ring gear for dummy?

nope. My previous 88 and my 90 just yet have been good to me I guess on that aspect. Let us all know, thanks

I did mention that the 89 and 90 zx7's were similar right?

I will see what I can do on the next few days, hopefully I will not broke something else

Labi, I would think you would WANT to pull the engine. It would save your back and make the job easier. It shouldn't be too complicated.

I got the service manual for my bike (same year).

It has the same picture and text you show on this thread. Hopefully I will able to change it soon, I will take some photos of the process.

Enjoy the learning process and make sure to label all parts and keep things organized and clean. Those pics listed were from my '88 factory manual. I did not feel like scanning the entire manual. Congrats on getting your manual. Yes, keep us posted.
