Default RE: bike running funny anyone have a idea ?

Well heres a update on my problem.
It wasnt anything carb wise,I took the carbs COMPLETLEY apart and put all new parts in.
I sync ed the carbs and adjusted the af screws.
The bike still ran like crap,So i decided to do some deeper looking.
The valves adjustment was in spec, and then when i was putting the plugs back in i noticed that the plug wires seperate from the tubes that you insert into the head.
Seems that the wire wasnt making proper contact and was very cororded gummed up with spent rubber. So i cleaned these and put it back in.
Suffice to say IT NOW RUNS like a scalded ape!
Does anyone know if its possible to just get the wires without the coils.Seems that the dealer wants to sell the entire thing and if im gonna buy a new coil set i would at least like to buy better units if they are available
Thanks for any help guys

Yeah, you can get wires. There is no reason to buy the whole coil set just for the wires. Sounds like your dealer is a dick! I would find a new one. You should be able to find some online as well. Replace the caps also. They lose resistance over time. Should boost your mileage too.
