I definitely love my bike, that's not a half bad idea there Ryda. I've been looking at fairings on e-bay, and I'm seeing mixed reviews on the full sets for 325.00 as far as fit goes...I don't want to do it cheap and ghetto. I have a smoked integrated turn signal tail light that I can't even use without a stock tail. The only problem is, I'm not real sure how the OEM body parts mount...I've seen a few places around the tail section of the frame where it looks like someone has done some cutting. I couldn't even figure out how exactly the stock tail light is supposed to fit in there...

 

any help with that/pictures you may want to post showing some mounting locations to the frame(if they are different then what I have to do with my fairings) would be quite helpful, but don't feel obligated

wateva you do stay away from the cheap china fairings you get on ebay, they are crap & dont line up as good as oem & flimsy as sh*t

 

yea thats what I was afraid of...oem is so expensive but I guess its for a reason

 

Which of the holes on the subframe are used for mounting the stock tail section? Also, how exactly does a stock tail light for an 04 mount to the frame? I played with the tail light for a while and wasn't able to figure anything out. It's kinda tricky since I've never seen one or taken one off, nor do I have any of the bolts I need
