I just got an 05 zx6r, I was told it needed a fuel pump. We did a pump and it still doesn't want to run. It'll idle, and seems to run fine, then when you gas it, it stalls out. Already reset and synched the carbs. It will gravity feed fine, but with the pump on it, it'll leak gas as it runs, can't tell form where. Any ideas about why it may be getting too much gas? Could it be it's not getting enough gas? Any other ideas?

Carbs were cleaned too.

 

It's just strange because it runs fine when it gravity feeds.

 

maybe a hose routed wrong?

 

The 05 6r C1 is DFI

 

carbs on the 05 since 03 they have been fuel injected...hope that helps...

 

yea, this one's carburated for some reason, not sure what's going on with that. But we figured it out, something to do with the floats. But thanks anyway to everyone for helping!
