636 Tranny
So today i was riding and i was in first gear all of a sudden i hit a bump and it shifted into second, but it was hard and loud, why did it do this and did i cause damage ?

No, I wouldn't think so. I've shifted so out of phase I looked behind me to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Then why does it make those sounds, some one said its the shift plate hitting the top of the gears
