Default 05-06 6r 636 Tranny Problems?

Is there anyone on here who owns a 05-06 6r 636 and have/had tranny problems? I'm a little worried because I just bought a used 05 636 and have just found out from various people on other forums who have tranny issues on their bikes.

One guy has only 2500mi and the other has only 5000mi. Both were still under warrantee but Kawi said that damage came from user abuse.

great, if the throttle position sensor is known to take a dump may i ask what light on the guage panel goes off if any? the reason i ask, is because.. you know how muzzy made that little piece of metal bracket for the servo on the stock exhaust, well i kinda removed the whole servo and module and just put a piece of electrical tape over my FI light. eeehhehhehee but i mean how many times do you have fuel injection problems? im wondering if the tps sensor would set off the fuel injection light. hmmm maybe i should have kept my servo and module stuff. i gutted it, i threw it over my shoulder and said who needs this piece of crap. my tranny better not go out. my buddies did on his 10r recently.

i would of left the servo motor on the bike man. i think it will throw a fi light and the bike wont rev past 7000 rpm and it wont have power when the tps goes out.

im not exactly sure about the jumping part as the tech who is the one who did the removing and i did the chucking, but my fi light is on and it has a little piece of black electrical tape over it so i dont see it. no muss no fuss, the bike has been like that since i got it, no problems as of yet, but then again, is my tps does go out or my fuel injection does have a problem ill never know it. lol

I have an 06 636, which happens to be my first streetbike. For the first 1k miles I've been clutch shifting the whole time. I recently found out that I should be power up-shifting. Does power shifting cause any damage to the engine or drive system? I've taken notice to a whirling sound coming from the tranny. It may have started making this sound before I started power shifting my bike, but I've just recently noticed it. I only really hear it when in 3rd 4th and 5th gear, or when shifting down into 2nd and 1st.
