Default 636 clicking valves?

I just bought an 06' 636 with 249 miles. I replaced the oil and installed a new battery, but by 400 miles I noticed a clicking sound above 3k rpm. The sound goes away with clutch engagement and is back with the clutch in and engine rev, so I don't think it is driveline. I replaced the oil and filter at 400 miles and now at 450 still have the clicking noise. Thought of using rislone or other additive but have not yet.
any ideas/ suggestions
thanks,

I do not rely on the factory setup. Check the valves, adjust them if needed, and adjust your cam chain tensioner. The kawi does not have the quietest valve train to begin with.

Thanks, is it worth doing right away or can it wait until the service interval?

I would do sooner rather than later...IMO I wouldn't use any additives like rislone, moreys etc....

Yeah BR, I end up hitting my valves at 200-600 normally from the showroom. I have found loose axles at 200miles needless to say from the dealer, and shim replacements on my zx7 at that mark as well.
