I just got a new KLX300 dual sport and on my first time out in the dirt crashed and busted my plastic throttle tube.

Anyone know what replacement would fit? I’d like to go metal since I know I’m going to eat it again.

 

You don't want metal. If you damage it you may not be able to twist the throttle. The odds are huge that any throttle tube that fits any KLX250/300 from at least 2009-up will work.

I would recommend you get some aluminum framed hand guards to protect your hands, brake and clutch, and throttle. I am running a set like these:



On my KLX, I have red to match it, there are other colors to be had. On Amazon or ebay they run around $20 and up. These are a match for the Acerbis guards I have on my KLX650. You will cut the end out of the throttle tube and grip to fit them, no problem.
